His shirt meant so much to me. In the East Bay, Black men are misrepresented in major media as being savage rapist, murderers and gang affiliated. His ensemble has a message that speaks volumes on who Black men are. Black men are attractive, positive and loving human beings. This photo was taken at the University of California, Berkeley.

His shirt spoke volumes to me. He is paying homage to our motherland : Africa.

His smile, throw over the shoulder blazer, plaid button-up, orange pant and blue denim shoes were such a great look for a Friday. His friends told me that I made his day by taking his photo. Truth is : He help make my blog. Thanks !

Classic black blazer paired with a denim jumper is perfect for Oakland weather.

Short skirts and pumps or sandals is always a winner.

His straw hat, white class members only jacket, plaid button-up, skinny pant and boat kicks worked well. It was well put together to create classic college look.

Floral print is a must this season especially in the East Bay.

Her striped black and white tank paired with cut-off denim shorts made a great outfit for the day. In talking with her I learned she was a fellow blogger as well a photographer. Her boots were enchanting !

Vintage is hot. Her mustard colored shorts and printed jacket worked well. Her swagger is definitely worth snapping a photo.

Mills College Fall Fashion

Emily Spear, is a Mills College Senior with dynamic style. I chose to capture her photo becuase of the vintage sweater with bright and bold colors. The yellow, green and red accessories go well. I like her vintage black and white flats as well.
