All Black Everything–> Los Angeles

Why her ?  She ( a  Mills transfer transplant from Los Angeles, California) is a person who exudes style. Very few people can wear one solid color  —adding multiple textures, shapes and styles to make an overall appealing ensemble. She wore one of a kind pieces like , the lace  blouse and  high waisted shorts that were connected to one another.  ( You can’t tell from the photos)

She is a world traveler as well. We spoke about her love for Paris, France which was evident in her time spent this past summer in the country.  She loved the clothes and the hot men !

I need to plan a trip to France soon.

Black Everything: Gucci Scarf,  Jacket, Lace Blouse, High waist shorts, tights and        pumps

Street Style: Winter Coats

Zainab, Business Economics major, wears faux fur because she loves it. She told me that this winter break she will be covered in head to toe with fur. Shedidn’t even care if fur was in or not. That is one key to being a fashionista and trend-setter. You must be able to like what YOU like and not what other folks like.

Faux fur – Forever 21 ( hot winter must -have)

Va, her ensemble stood out amonst the crowd. Fashionistas appreciate other wearable art. Va, was able to wear a brightly colored jacket that complmented her jeans and shoes.

Hair Bows:Fashionable in the winter season

In case you never visit my favorite sites Young, Black and Fabulous or The Fashion Bomb Daily . You may not be aware of the Turban. I have been utterly fascinated by it’s existence as of lately —thanks June Ambrose ! I have been obsessing over the turban as of late and decided to do my own rendition. This included turning my headscarf into a BOLD BOW !

My Bold Bow has been turning heads and receiving numerous compliments. I am glad that the Bold Bow is a hit.

Check out some of the inspiration for my bow below :
