Easter Sunday Fashion: Christianista’s celebrate Spring 11′

  Yesterday, better known as “Resurrection Sunday” was a big day for me. I am a Christian and the basis of my faith is  Chirst rising from the DEAD for my sins. Yesterday, represented a re-birth and new journey for me as well.

 I moved in with my Mom and moved out of my grandparents house. The move was much needed and the next move will be into my own apartment. ( Prays & Crosses fingers)

I attended 6:30 a.m. ( Sun Rise) service with my mom. It was really amazing to see the little kids recite Easter poems.

   After, Easter brunch at church. I ran into two young Christianistas ( Christians + Fashionistas) who were wearing fab spring dresses from my favorite store Forever 21. Both of the ladies wore bright colors paired with cute jackets and pumps.

I had to take a photo.

Young Jeezy’s CTE Artist 2Eleven hates on BOWS

This past weekend on my twitter page, Rapper  Young Jeezy‘s L.A. based rap artist, 2Eleven decided to “go in” on my B-O-W. He decided to talk major crap about how my bow was crazy and how he would send me home if he was my boss. I think Rap artist need to have better P.R. people to train them on how to use twitter. Or, they need to stop getting their little feelings hurt behind my snarky comments.

This conversation was very funny to me. I wasn’t offended by any of his comments because his opinion means nothing to me. I love my B-O-W — it’s like my signature.

Not gonna front though — 2eleven is a California piece. I would definitely style him.  There would be no more Inglewood white tees from the liquor store if I was his stylist.

At the end of the day, I understand why he was upset that I talked about his facebook. 2Eleven’s public figure facebook page only has a few hundred likes ( as of 4.11.2011.) So, I ask that people support him so that he can be a happy rapper and non-BOW hater on twitter. LMAO!

Fashion Internship at Oakland Boutique

 Hey Fashion Lovers! I have a opportunity for you to get first hand experience in the fashion business.

Green. is a boutique located in Oakland, California specializing in Bold, Beautiful, Vintage apparel and accents. We are seeking interns who are interested in the fields of fashion, advertisement, public relations, and marketing.

Duties Include:
-Managing client referrals and keeping track of outcomes.
-Updating website and network pages.
-Online marketing and advertising.
-Sending out mailers and delivering flyers to promote business.
-Updating online calendar of events.
-Transcribing dictated information.
-Most of the tasks can be completed from home, except for meetings and special events.

Qualifications
*Strong computer skills, please be comfortable with various Microsoft programs and be confident in your abilities to quickly learn new programs.
*Weekday availability and flexibility for working on assignments (5-10 hours a week).
*Communication skills (strong knowledge of the English language, grammar, and writing abilities).
*Attention to detail is a must.
*Ability to follow directions and follow through with assignments.

1) Live in Oakland or Alameda County and have a car.
2) Student interested in a career.
3) Available to meet at least once a week for 2-3 hours and the first Saturday of the month for at least 2 hours.
4) Detail oriented and organized.
