Kanye West debuts clothing line “DW” for Spring ’12

Kanye, could have came harder.

This past weekend, (which seems like years ago on this thing called the internet )— Kanye West debuted his women’s fashion line DW for Spring 2012 in Paris, France.

Ye’ had a celeb filled show — The Olsen twins, Ciara, Tameka Raymond, Jared Leto, Lindsey Lohan, Vogue fashion editor Ana Wintour and so many others in the audience at his show.  Ye’ brought out all the stars as if it were an all-star audience for one of his shows at Madison Square Garden with fellow rapper Jay-Z.

I am an avid Yeezy supporter. I love everything this man does —everything. Yes, I even loved the Taylor Swift moment— he helped her career!

My feelings on the looks —simple, chic, wearable and not amazing. I would have hoped that he would have had more of a theme to his line and bright colors for Spring. Ye’ has an extreme personality and style so I wanted the line to dispay that. Instead, I saw nudes, whites, sweaters, fur and beads. The custom Giuseppe shoes were the bomb.com.

Hip- Hop Fashion Icon: Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur.

A  great American poet, actor,activist, son of a Black Panther and a fashion icon.

I miss him.

In his memory, I have dedicated this post to a few of his classic style looks.

The photo represents a kind of innocence while being utterly sexy. This is one of the many times that Pac shows off his body art and wears it as fashion. Of course, he displays his love for large gold rings. He also wears his fashion “go to” item which is the navy blue or black bandana twisted to the front.
