I’ve worked as a stylist in the retail business for the past 3 years. I have noticed that many of my clients, both men and women, want to look their best yet do not want to stand out. It’s such a challenge encouraging people to wear colors outside of black and neutrals.

Weekend Fun: Napa wine tasting

Saturdays are meant for fun and relaxation, I’m convinced of this. This past weekend I visited Domaine Carneros Champagne Estate in Napa, California. It was simply amazing and awe inspiring. Sometimes I forget just how lucky I am to live in the Golden State.

For wine tasting, I wanted to wear a pop of color that was feminine and very warm. I chose a hot pink chiffon like dress from Forever 21. I decided to not wear jewelry because I wanted a very simple look.
However, I used the Ray Ban Aviator with a green mirrored lens as an accessory. And, Candy yum yum by Mac cosmetics on my lip.

OMG! I miss style and music blogging

Hello Style lovers!

I have truly missed writing on my personal music and style blog. My last blog post was a little over a year ago and so much has changed. I have worked in high end retail, gained a clientele, gained new friendships, mentorships and new experiences. But, one thing was missing over the past year. I have missed writing about STYLE and new MUSIC.

Since, I took a break from blogging I have done a few things like: earned my Economic and Journalism degree, gained  experience in management at high end luxury boutiques and partied hard.

I am back now to share all of my cool findings, experiences, music, style tips and more.

** Sidenote: I am wearing a pink mesh polka dot dress from Bebe Inc. It’s very fun, sexy and sophisticated.

Fashionably,

Ty

Spotlight: Personal Style blogger Jose Antonio

Jose Antonio, has great personal style that I admire. His style is simple, chic, clean cut and masculine. I think that he has a great eye for colors, fit, accessories that accentuate his fits versus distract the eye from the overall look. I’ve been following his tumblr, The Gentleman’s Corner for almost a year now.

These are a few of my favorite looks of his that display his personal style.

The look above is one of my favorite looks of his style because the suit is tailored. I think that is one thing that can make or break a man in a suit: the fit to body ratio. The fit looks good as well because the hankerchief adds a little flaire and personality to the dark colored suit which alllows him to get away with not wearing the traditional collared shirt. I think the fact that he chose to have a more casual shirt with the suit was a nice touch as well.

More of the looks….. Continue reading
