Closet confession is a mini-web series that features Mills College students and their coveted closets in their dorm rooms. This series provides insight into how young women dress on an all woman college and how they manage to dress fashionably on a dire budget. The purpose of this series is to expose the myth that women do not dress well because there are no males on the college campus.  The web series will show that women are not afraid to share their favorite pieces from their closet or share information about price or the location of where the purchase took place.

For example, the photos below are of my closet which I use the clothes quite creatively.  The closet is has two blue tubs that contain many shirts, jackets and other random clothing pieces. The clothes on pink hangers are shirts, blouses, skirts and slacks. Many of my clothing pieces are from the affordable Forever 21, local thrift shops and my mom’s closet. Honestly, my family is always giving me clothes.

My shoe collection consists of colorful pumps, winter staple boots, cowboy boots and the Jordan 4’s. I do not have any flats or tennis shoes at this point in time.  I made a conscious decision to stop wearing tennis shoes because they didn’t flow with my clothing pieces. As soon as I drive everyday, I will wear pumps everyday. Truthfully, I would wear pumps everyday but the campus roads aren’t paved smoothly.

The mini-web series will have a total of 4 episodes. The four episodes will examine 4 totally different styles and grade level of Mills women.
